Wool Felted Ornament Class (Sun. Dec. 10)
When: Sunday, Dec. 10th 2023 Noon to 1:30pm
What: Learn how to create a needle felted ornament for the holidays!
Where: Chaotic Good Brewing 202 2nd Street Southwest Kasson, MN 55944
What's Included? Each attendee will create a 3" ball ornament decorated in the wool colors of their choosing. We will be doing two styles of felting for this project-- wet and needle felting. Prepare to get your hands wet when we start off wet felting around a foam ball. This saves time and resources by preparing our surface for decoration! After wet felting & a quick pat dry, we start needle felting our designs. We'll use contrasting colors of wool and wool yarn to create simple shapes and patterns. Finish off your ornament by threading a cord or ribbon at the top to hang from your tree, window, or gift! No experience is necessary, though experienced felters are also more than welcome!
Food & Drink: Tickets do not include food or beverages, but you are encouraged to purchase them before, during, or after the wool felting event!
Disclaimers: All minors must be accompanied by an adult with the adult in the building at all times. The adult does not need to be a paying customer. Please note that needles are extremely sharp--and barbed! Chaotic Good Brewing, its owner and employees, including instructor Bailey Quam, are NOT to be held liable for injury or damages. Due to the use of sharp needles, this event is recommended to ages 14 & up.
